“wonder is the basis of philosophy”

Tonight at yoga Krisha said to try not to focus on noticing the tightness in a stretch. This will make the limb feel tighter and by the end of the practice we will feel tight instead of relaxed. He said, even if it is tight, to move as if it was easy and free. The aim is to get away from an intellectual analysis, and get to a state of pure wonder. And he said, “Wonder is the basis of philosophy, but ironically philosophy (intellectual thought) kills wonder.”

For me, this again reflects the idea of finding solutions through looking for solutions, not problems. And I also felt it’s both a true and a beautiful thought that “wonder is the basis of philosophy”.
